Lowering your risk of heart disease requires a comprehensive approach
- Stop Smoking
- Reduce consumption of animal meats and products.
- Reduce alcohol, which depletes the body of B vitamins, zinc and magnesium.
- Eliminate sugar.
- Eat at least 6 to 8 helpings of fruit and vegetables per day.
- Increase fiber in diet to eliminate excess cholesterol from diet.
